In 2004, Mother Lee E. Van Zandt came to Hiawatha Church of God in Christ and spoke about her experiences on the Missions field. Since that day, Evangelist La Tonya Jackson felt such a call from God on her life, that 4 months later she was in Sao Paulo, Brazil on her first Missions trip. Evangelist Jackson has traveled the globe with Mother Lee Van Zandt preaching, serving, feeding, clothing, and doing the will of the Father in Kingston, Jamaica; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Johannesburg, South Africa; Durban, South Africa; Nairobi, Kenya; Havana, Cuba; and The Dominican Republic.
